Can you tell me 3 or 4 of your favorite things to do?
Favorite active things to do: roller skating, walking Greenlake (mostly so I can pet other people’s dogs). Not so active: video games, reading.
Where is your favorite place to eat?
Hot Cakes. Yum.
Do you remember when you started our classes and why?
About two years ago, I think. I was trying to recover from chronic back issues (and a few roller derby injuries), and knew I needed to work with someone who could help personalize my workouts and keep me motivated to get stronger. I met with Dillon and felt like she understood my goals and wouldn’t let me slack off.
What are some health and fitness goals you have achieved since being here?
I’ve definitely gotten stronger, and I’m even a (little) more flexible. And I definitely feel the difference in my energy and stress levels if I miss my regularly-scheduled workouts!
What is a quote that you live by?
I don’t really have one, but I do love this: “Remember, no matter where you go, there you are.” – The Adventures of Buckaroo Banzai.
