In September 2011, I decided it was time for me to get back into shape. When I first started going to the Body Revolution class at The Fitness Lab, I was 40 pounds heavier than my normal weight, out of shape, and could barely run a mile (I had previously run two half marathons in 2 1/2 hours).
Well now (February 2013) I am happy to say I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight, I can run a 5K easily, and I feel stronger. I actually know I am stronger because two weeks ago I was rear ended in a car accident. I was waiting to turn left (so at a dead stop) and a person came up behind me and rear-ended me at 40 MPH. The car was totaled, but I was able to walk away.
I honestly feel it could have been much worse if I hadn’t been taking classes at The Fitness Lab. My back, shoulders, and core are strong because of the Body Revolution classes I have been taking for the past two years. My doctor was amazed that I didn’t have more injuries. After taking a break for two weeks, he actually encouraged me to continue with the Body Revolution class to keep my muscles strong.
