Q/A with Zack
What are some of your favorite things to do?
I like to go on long road rides on my bike, I recently biked to Portland. I like to swim, ski and canoe. I’ve been practicing Thai Chi for over twenty years, last year I traveled to China with my instructor and visited the village where it originated. Most weekends I’m either doing construction projects, around the house, repairing vehicles, or camping in our vanagon with the family!
Where is your favorite place to eat?
I love sushi, we usually order from I Love Sushi in Eastlake. Tilth in Wallingford and Cafe Press in Capitol Hill are great. But making Cajun food at home is my favorite.
When did you start training at TFL and why?
I was doing crossfit about three years ago and it wasn’t a good fit for me. My wife Stephanie (shout out!) was at TFL and said I should try it. I’ve loved it ever since.
What are some health and fitness goals you have achieved since joining TFL?
My core strength has really improved, I’m happy about that. The round-robin/training circuit is a great way to keep the workouts varied and interesting.
