Q/A with Kristen
Can you tell me 3 or 4 of your favorite things to do?
I am passionate about food and love to plan and prepare thoughtful meals to share with family and friends. When I’m not thinking about food, I’m happiest if I’m reading a book, playing in the water, or walking in the woods. I also love to escape to the peace and quiet of our home near Lake Chelan.
My favorite place to eat:
Other than my dining room, my favorite place to eat is Wolf in the Fog, in Tofino, BC.
What are some health and fitness goals you have achieved since being here?
I started coming to The Fitness Lab nearly five years ago. After swimming competitively from kindergarten through college, I tried working out independently in my adult life, but realized I couldn’t motivate or push myself to the degree that I needed without a coach or “team” around me. Having the expert coaching staff and training team at The Fitness Lab has helped me regain and maintain the functional strength and endurance needed to keep doing the things I need and want to do at this stage in life. My goal is to maintain a level of fitness that enables me to play in the ocean, go for a hike, pick up a game of tennis, or set out for a day of skiing at any given point, for the rest of my life!
