Q/A with Dana
Can you tell me 3 or 4 of your favorite things to do?
Traveling, camping, scuba diving, fishing, skiing.
My favorite place to eat:
Any street taco stand in Mexico!
Do you remember when you started our classes and why?
I started with a six week “Fall Back to Fitness” program in Sept. 2016. I wanted to lose 10 lbs. that were settling in the wrong places as I was hitting my mid-fifties. The Challenge seemed like a great way to get motivated, TFL provided the tools and support with the program, and the gym was close to my office so no excuses. After completing six weeks, I was hooked. outine.
What are some health and fitness goals you have achieved since being here?
I’ve lost the 10 lbs. plus some, and increased muscle which has allowed me to enjoy my recreational activities more. I started skiing again last year after ten years, and the conditioning I had through TFL classes helped me to get right back in it without any aches and pains during a weeklong ski vacation. At 55, I feel I’ve kicked some of the years back to the curb. And bonus, I dropped a clothing size, which is the best reason to go shopping!
What is a quote that you live by?
Smile, it is the key that fits the lock of everybody’s heart. – Anthony J. D’Angelo
Anything else you¹d like to say about your experience at the Fitness Lab?
TFL’s supportive atmosphere can’t be beat, the humor and comradery make working hard fun. When I travel for work, I miss going to classes, they are great for both the physical and the mental wellbeing.
