Q/A with Kristin
Can you tell me 3 or 4 of your favorite things to do?
We live in such a wonderful place to be active outdoors! My favorite days are those spent hiking, camping or sea kayaking with family or friends. I also really enjoy quiet time in my garden or in the woods listening to and observing birds.
My favorite place to eat:
My favorite restaurant is Matt’s in the Market. In complete contrast, sitting around a campfire in the woods, cooking food on a stick brings me a lot of joy!
Do you remember when you started our classes and why?
A couple of years after my daughter was born I saw a Facebook ad for a fitness challenge at The Fitness Lab. After many years of working with a personal trainer, I was looking for a more sustainable way of getting into better shape. Taking classes in a small group setting was very appealing, and has proven to be very effective.
What are some health and fitness goals you have achieved since being here?
Working out consistently and having fun doing it.
Anything else you’d like to say about your experience at the Fitness Lab?
I think the trainers at The Fitness Lab do a very good job motivating their clients while maintaining a safe and fun class. Competition within the gym environment is not helpful to me. I appreciate being encouraged to maximize my own potential.
